Skilled Creative is looking for a Junior Strategic Researcher to provide research needed for existing and prospective clients, to bolster business development and creative production. Comprehensive research should be conducted through a creative lens, in order to provide informative insights along with thought-starters that empower action steps from the research.

We are looking for an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. Knowledge of research techniques and creative processes is essential to this role.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking research on key topics, to inform, inspire and support creative strategy and technological innovation in the audio and voice space.
• Compiling all findings into palatable research insights, as briefed by the Creative Team.
• Carrying out research tasks using trusted, unbiased sources.
• Presenting research findings back in a timely and well-ordered format.
• Filtering research based on the topic at hand, and approaching all research with a strategic lens.
• Providing creative thought starters to spark conversation, and inspire activations for clients and the Creative Team.
• Maintaining, organizing and updating the research library, sourcing on a project basis.
• Ensuring all written copy is grammatically correct and spell checked.
• Supporting the research team and Creative Team in presentation, from the original research task through any follow-up.
• Empowering the creative team with smooth and accurate processes to support short turnarounds.
• Approaching research and technological advancements with innovation in mind.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven research experience in similar role
• BSc/BA graduate or relevant experience in a creative field
• High level of competency in PowerPoint, KeyNote, Google Suite, Photoshop and Word
• Familiarity with relevant tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Awareness and interest in key blogs and websites relevant to technology, AI, web3, art, music, design, fashion, creativity and culture.
• Understanding of social media, cultural trends, influential brands, people, and innovation trends.
• Analytical mindset with both data organization and strategic thinking skills.

Compensation

The Junior Strategic Researcher will be compensated at $25-50 per hour.

This is a part time monthly contract position.
