- Assisting Network Administrator with the administration and maintenance of telephone system; assisting with the creation of new telephone and voicemail extension, routing extension to appropriate locations and updating Call manager setting license changes
- Assisting Network Administrator with the administration and maintenance of devices on the wired network to include VPN access
- Managing service provider and mobile device contracts to endure high quality, on time delivery and cost competitiveness; Soliciting, receiving, and analyzing proposals, quotations, and tender submissions, and recommending selection of service and mobile device providers in accordance with ECS standards
- Assisting with the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, mobile devices, and other IT Supplies
- Assisting with the purchase of software, hardware, mobile devices, and other IT supplies
- Promoting responsible usage and care of corporate network infrastructure equipment
- Assisting in writing and/revising training manuals and procedures
- Confirming and labelling all devices including all cross connects (Cat5, Coax, Fiber) in the Data Center Racks; Creating and maintaining documentation that describes the location and use of all equipment in the Data Centers
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining rack mounted infrastructure equipment (KVM, PDU, UPS, Remote Environmental Monitoring)
- Working with Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Malware: prevention, administration, assistance, application, installation, and configuration
- Supporting local and remote users with Windows Network related issues
- Providing assistance to develop and maintain documentation of all infrastructure
- Monitoring performance of networks, server network logs, and troubleshooting networks as required as well as root cause analysis/determination
What We're Looking For:
- 1 year of experience with production Windows Networks/Server Administration
- 1 year of experience with Production Expereince in installing, configuration, maintaining rick mounted infrastructure equipment (Switches, Routers, UPS)
- 1 - 2 years of experience in administering and interprise environment
- BS Computer Science or related field or equivalent working experience
