Here is your opportunity to join a dynamic embedded computer product development group and participate at the ground level in the design and implementation of new state-of-the-art systems. Working with a small group of experienced professionals will allow you to obtain design experience while participating in many aspects of the product development process. The company, BioTillion LLC, has been working for more than 15 years in the area, gaining experience in the challenging design of cryogenic systems in support of the Biorepository industry. Our technology, using RFID, has the potential to revolutionize this huge business area. We are presently beta testing one of our systems in a major U.S. hospital.

Tasks will include:

• Use Pads software to generate schematics and layout printed circuit boards.
• Operate LPKF 2-layer printed circuit board prototyping machine.
• Take charge of laboratory organization of components and projects
• Design and debug digital and analog circuits
• Assist in the production and manufacture of prototypes
• Support system integration of hardware/software/firmware
• Test system software
• Verify and debug prototypes and boards received from manufacturing
• Work with other members of the engineering team to accomplish a common goal
• Visit customer sites on occasion to resolve engineering problems

Qualifications:

• An understanding of principles of electronics design and analysis
• An ability to write coherent reports documenting activities
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, generators, lab equipment
• Experience with RF and vector network analyzers a plus
• Knowledge of C or other programming language a plus

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Candidates with no previous experience will be considered

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
