DASMEN Residential is looking for a JR interior Designer for our Renovations & Construction team to be based out of the Ramsey. NJ region. The role would be responsible for interior unit renovations, common area upgrades, and exterior projects such as clubhouse upgrades, pools, landscaping improvements, etc.
Requirements:
Responsibilities:
- Produces sketches, drawings, and floor plans to illustrate concepts and finished projects using computer-aided design programs (CAD) and hand-drawing skills
- Vendor relations
- Creates idea boards to communicate design concepts to clients
- Complex drafting conditions
- Track and manage the project budget responsibly, and be accountable for completing projects at or under budget
- Source & coordinate materials based on project needs, considering budget and project timelines
- Monitor project timeline, ensuring timely completion of each project milestone, notifying management of any delays if necessary
Requirements:
- Basic Knowledge of CAD
- Basic Knowledge of Sketch up
- Procurement
- Precise attention to detail
- Very organized and able to manage competing priorities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to project needs
