Overview: A few local companies in Moses Lake, Quincy, and Othello are looking to fill an immediate need for an experienced electrician to work on various tasks related to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. This role includes installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing multiple appliances.

Ideal candidates will be, first and foremost, responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. The client is also seeking electricians with experience in various electrical devices and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems
• Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels, etc.)
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components
• Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
• Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units

What we look for:

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
• Ability to use electrical and hand tools
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations, and guidelines
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Must be willing to relocate to the area - NO TRAVELING ELECTRICIAN
• Diploma or certification in relevant vocational training or completed an apprenticeship as an electrician
• Valid electrical license

Preferred: O1 Journeyman Level

Salary Range: $35 - $45 per hour based on experience
