Just People Inc. is a local non profit that supports adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible. We are currently hiring for a job coach/employment specialist Specialist position. This positions requires the staff to be outgoing, creative, and reliable and excellent time management skills.

Basic Job Duties: Employment Specialist will help members with developmental disabilities, find, train, and maintain competitive employment in the community. Employment Specialist must help the member locate potential employment, assist them with the application process, interview, training, and complete weekly or monthly check ins with member’s supervisor to monitor the member's progress. Employment Specialist will document all efforts for each member with description of service.

Schedule: Part time position, 20-25 hours per week. May vary depending on the schedules and needs of the employees. Generally a Monday through Friday position will include 2 Saturdays a month.

Requires:

Background Check/Fingerprinting

Drug Screen

Drivers License

7 year MVR along with use of personal vehicle and valid insurance.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
