JCPenney Logistics in Forest Park has a great opportunity for you!

Open Interviews available this Wednesday, 3/22 for 1st & 2nd shift!

Doors will open at 9am and close at 11am promptly. No applicants will be accepted after 11am.

Where: 120 Penney Road, Forest Park, GA 30297
Pay: Starting at $16.00 for 1st shift and $17.00 for 2nd shift (offering 2nd shift differential)

Schedule: 1st Shift 5am-130pm, OT 4am-430pm; 2nd shift 330pm-12am, OT 2am

Primary Responsibilities:

• Checks and inspects cartons to reflect accurate quantity and condition for further processing.
• Prepares cartons for processing by:
• Locating, preparing, and affixing appropriate labels
• Packing, labeling, and scanning cartons as required
• Sorting and routing cartons
• Entering appropriate information in inventory systems as acquired
• Loading, unloading, picking as required
• Performs processing activities as assigned
• Moves cartons from one location to another, either manually or mechanically

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

• Six months experience in the same or related tasks is preferable.
• Physical Essential Function (Lifting): Frequent 0 – 30lbs; Occasional 30 – 75lbs
• Familiarity with use of contemporary merchandise processing equipment (i.e. hand- held scanners)
• Familiarity with use of warehouse equipment and inventory systems.
• Requires the ability to understand and follow general and/or written instructions.
• Involves the use of elementary arithmetic.
• Ability to learn computer processing systems.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Ability to determine which prescribed steps to take to process problem cartons and to resolve identified discrepancies.
