General Function: Keeping the building in clean and orderly condition
Job Duties:
- Keeps working areas in production departments or office areas in clean and orderly condition performing any combination of the following duties: Keeps boxes, material, and stock in neat and orderly condition
- Cleans lint, dust, oil, and grease from machines, overhead piping, conveyors, and floors using brushes, air hoses, mops, rags, steam cleaners, or powered floor cleaning equipment
- Picks up scrap, clutter, and trash and transports to appropriate waste area using powered industrial trucks or hand-trucks
- May pick up refuse from plant grounds and maintain the area by cutting grass, trimming edges of walkways
- May also seed areas, fertilize grounds, plant shrubs, trim trees
- Perform assigned work in departments, plants or grounds in accordance with written/verbal instructions
- Dispose of plant trash, clutter, refuse, etc. in an environmentally responsible manner
- Report problems that cannot be addressed without guidance to the department supervisor, leader or Production Manager.
Working Conditions: Standing 7.7 hours, capable of lifting from 10lbs - 40 lbs on a consistent basis to include; pushing, pulling, bending, some stooping, and reaching.

Education/Experience:
High School Degree or GED
Other Requirements:
- Physically able to utilize hand and power tools such as mops, brooms, lawn mowers, weed-trimmers, power sprayers, vacuum cleaners, Industrial Truck (if required), hand-trucks
- Knowledge of Hazard Communication Program in particular, the Blood Bourne Pathogens program in reference to proper use and protective equipment needed on the use of cleaners, solvents, sprays, and possible infectious materials
- Dispose of all trash, chemicals, and other materials in accordance with established procedures and in an environmentally responsible manner
- Required to possess Driver’s License and/or Commercial Truck operator’s license
- Ability to work without immediate supervision
