We are looking for an equipment operator (Jackpot/At Once) who will bring support, organization and above all else, personality to our team. It is important to us that this person has the energy and desire to manage the execution of all activities that are deemed necessary to the position.
The notable responsibilities of the equipment operator (Jackpot/At Once) are:
- To deliver appropriate unit to designated area to complete an order. To remove units that has fallen from the tilt tray convery or system and adjust load in tote to insure proper movement in system.
- Perform keyboard transactions to operate core systems, such as Mandate
- Monitor and analyze “At Once Report” to determine work priority
- Locate and match required units specified on report
- Deliver Jackpot and At Once unit needed to appropriate work area
- Collect overages, shortages and damaged units, and process
- Operate pallet jack, pallet rider, lowboy, RC and golf carts
- Collect overage/defective units and deliver to the Universal Work Center or PI
- Remove units that have fallen from the tilt tray conveyor system
- Deliver misplaced units to At Once (usually damaged units) or PI
- Deliver overthrow units to sorter for reintroduction
What the equipment operator (Jackpot/At Once) already has:
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse experience is a HUGE BONUS
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, or
- Ability to use a handheld scanner, or
- Experience driving a pallet rider and/or fork truck
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Excellent number correlation
- Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities
- Working knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment and an ability to not become frustrated with last minute changes
- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong team orientation
- Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy
- Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs quickly
- Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in LS & Co.
