Armstrong, Backus & Co., LLP is a regional, full-service public accounting firm located in San Angelo, TX. We are currently seeking a qualified, knowledgeable IT support professional to assist our staff, partners and our third-party IT partner with their daily IT needs and concerns. S/He will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems in a timely manner. This position requires a person who is self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high-quality and staff/client service. The ideal candidate is a quick and willing learner, seeking to expand their knowledge and experience in the IT sector.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- You will provide exceptional service according to technical requests.
- Provide technical support for our partners and staff and assist our 3rd-party IT partner as needed.
- Escalate IT support to the necessary leadership as needed.
- Collaborate with other IT team members (internal and external) to provide best-in-class service.
- Some after-hours work will be necessary for this position.
- This position involves mostly in-office work. Working from home will be limited.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to be trained and follow specific instructions.
Experience and Education:
Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year information technology experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field. MIS/AIS degrees are preferred.
