Practice Management/US Oncology (USON) FP&A is responsible for the planning, forecasting, and reporting for >2,000 Oncology providers across the country and creating a contemporary, innovative, and scale-able IT offering is critical to support future growth in Oncology. McKesson is seeking an IT Finance Manager to help ensure strong financial stewardship of Practice Management/US Oncology’s IT product offerings.
The IT Finance Manager will serve as key contributor to the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles for USON IT products and services. In addition, this role will support the development of a revamped IT pricing model, prioritization framework, governance structure, and business cases for all IT projects, as well as develop enhanced reporting for Practice Management IT spending. This role will interact with multiple business units (Practice Management, Ontada, MTO, and PSAS) and functions (Finance, Strategy, MTO, and Operations) to develop a scale-able IT offering across US Oncology that will drive strategic value across the enterprise. This is a unique role that provides a breadth of finance experiences, a deep understanding of US Oncology practices, and reaches across multiple business units and departments.
The IT Finance Manager is a trusted business partner to the CIO of US Oncology and will work collaboratively across the organization to produce transparent and actionable insight for strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for forecasting, planning, and reporting for all USON related IT products and services
- Enhance visibility and alignment into all Practice Management/USON IT spend, whether its direct spending or spending from allocated sources from other McKesson business units
- Create business cases for IT projects, including full understanding of projected financial costs and benefits, either through additional revenue, cost savings, or cost avoidance, as well as a lens into the funding mechanism of each project
- Partner with IT and Strategy to rationalize IT applications across Practice Management/USON landscape
- Assist with the development of an enhanced IT services pricing model
- Develop clear understanding of and document all IT services and associated costs that are contractually required, as well as IT services provided but are not contractually required
- Assist with establishing a documented end to end financial process for IT projects, including a prioritization framework and governing body
- Assist with non-IT related FP&A responsibilities and perform other duties as required
Minimum Education & Work Experience:
- 5+ years finance and/or accounting experience
Critical Skills:
- Bachelor's degree preferably within Finance or Accounting, including development of business cases
- Self-directed
- Ability to influence without authority
- Experience developing and managing strategic financial projects/programs
- Proven success in building effective business partnerships at the senior level
- Strong ability to influence and provide strategic recommendations to C-suite decision makers
- Must have strong quantitative and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Prior change management experience with success in collaboration across multiple business units
