JOB SUMMARY

The on-site IT Director is responsible for providing comprehensive management and coordination of technology systems, ensuring system security, system reliability, integrity, and development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads an on-site technical team on projects of a complex nature.
• Responsible for quality assurance, evaluation and documentation of team procedures.
• Propose budgets for programs and projects; purchases and upgrades of equipment; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
• Oversee the auditing of new and existing information systems applications.
• Plan and develop project plans for all ERP system upgrades and maintenance of ERP and all systems.
• Maintain, communicate, and execute a strategy to keep the company’s IT resources up to date.
• Serves as subject matter expert on all IT related issues.
• Ensures corporate and legal guidelines are followed for managing IS hardware and software assets.
• Defines requirements for IT asset acquisition and procedures to include management and disposal strategies for the company.
• Providing technological guidance within the company, establish and direct strategic and tactical goals, IT-related projects.
• Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
• Designs, configures, and develops enterprise-grade software applications to support financial, operations and supporting function processes.
• Manages IT support for mission-critical business functions.
• Ensure that all personnel working under your supervision adhere and fully comply with the Company’s Code of Conduct and ethics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a BS in computer science or a related technical degree plus ten (10) years of management experience.

Proven relevant work experience in IT and ERP systems.

Must have experience with security of all company information and assurance of communication security (NIST,ITAR,etc.).

Experience with ERP launch, maintenance and best practices in a complex manufacturing business, support of multiple information systems, including Interface and communication between systems, data management and analysis to support all facets business operations and control and evaluation of IS and electronic data operations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person, over the telephone, and on the production floor.

Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone, and on the production floor.

Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including visual examination of manufactured parts and reading information from printed sources and computer screens.

Other: Requires frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds unassisted, including assisting co-workers when required. Adequate physical ability including sufficient manual dexterity to perform the requisite manufacturing duties. Requires frequent bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some heavy lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
