Desktop Support Technician II

6 Month, Contract to hire

Schenectady, NY 12345
M-F 8 am-5 PM EST.

Support of day to day operation of audio-visual and collaboration technologies on specified site or locale.

Provide supervision of installation process for site audio-visual and collaborative technology.

Coordinate collaboration and audio-visual equipment maintenance and repair.

Attended and support conference meetings when necessary.

Provide telepresence white glove support when requested during conference center hours. Support/facilitate events in partnership with the internal event and webcast team as well as external vendors when scheduling does not conflict with existing conference center schedule.

Provide support of conference center user basic network connectivity and audio-visual connectivity issues.

Provide the customer facing site support and responses to all employees, visiting customers and contractors for audio video management activities.

Validate essential audio video reservation requests to confirm that the appropriate technology and equipment is available and the data submitted is accurate.

Work with end users to resolve all audio video related problems.

Maintain accurate system hardware documentation and make recommendations for removal of equipment and upgrades when systems are nearing capacity.

Train users on proper use of video related equipment.

Create and improve documentation for site AV related processes and options to assist users with selecting and using the solutions that best fit their needs management. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
