Job description

Requirements:

• Strict schedule based on crops needs M-F 11:30 PM - 8 PM
• The summer schedule and Winter schedules will change per season
• Ability to identify greenhouse pests (will train)
• Ability to work in a hot environment
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to follow a repetitive daily routine
• Must be reliable, a team player, and communicate well with management and employees
• Ability to push approximately 450-500lb Dramm sprayer
• Complete the CDA Pesticide Applicator certification test (will have 30 days after hire to complete)
• Ability to occasionally work “off hours”, before and/or after normally scheduled shifts

Duties that will be trained on:

• Application of approved organic pesticides and fungicides to plants
• Scouting and identifying pest “hot spots” in the greenhouse
• Ensure that the IPM schedule is followed correctly
• Basic maintenance and cleaning of IPM equipment
• Effective communication of IPM needs and effectiveness with IPM Captain
• Accurate recording of applications
• Accurate recording and posting of application notifications

60-day trial period then determine continuation with the company

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
