Description: Consultant to member credit unions: Helping credit unions succeed by serving as a valued investment consultant.

Sells fixed income investments, including government agency bonds (callables, step-ups, MBS, SBA pools), jumbo CDs and deposit accounts. Works with portfolio strategist to support other registered reps in their sales efforts. Facilitates liquidity funding solutions as needed. Uses portfolio analytical software to provide investment recommendations and stays current with interest rate markets and economic conditions..
Requirements: Seeking candidates with:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or money and banking
• 2-4 years’ of customer service and/or sales experience in a financial institution preferred
• Understanding of fixed income markets and products
• Must be licensed to sell bonds (Series 7 and Series 63)

Travel requirements
Some travel is required with this position. Travel may be out of state and/or require flying. The employee may be required to drive a vehicle to and from credit union locations.
