We are currently seeking an experienced Inventory / Frame & Lens Order Entry Clerk for our fast-paced optical laboratory in Omaha, NE . This is an excellent opportunity to join our team!

Job Summary

1st shift - Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Responsible for the accurate and timely entry of material orders and product selection for optical laboratory Rx & stock orders.

Duties:

• Timely and accurate keying of lens and/or frame purchase orders into computer for electronic transmission to vendors.
• Retrieve product from inventory for Rx / stock processing.
• Access and interpret reports within software program respective to inventory levels, purchase orders, fill rates, et.al
• Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• 2 yrs. work experience commensurate with position requirements
• Must be highly detail-oriented
• Ability to meet and maintain deadlines
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Basic PC/keyboard skills required
• General Ophthalmic knowledge preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
