Responsibilities:-
The Internet Sales Manager is responsible for managing the performance of the Internet Sales Team. Responsibilities include staffing, training and motivating the Internet sales team by working closely with the division's operating team to ensure that goals are met in a timely manner. The ISM will also be working as an active ISC. Answering phone calls, setting appointments, following up, making outbound calls, texts, videos, emails. Contributing to the total attachment of the ISC team as we work leads to convert to sales.
- Actively monitors potential future sales personnel hires by visiting competitors’ web sites on a periodic basis, formally tracking high-potential candidates through online efforts and engaging candidates when openings arise.
- Interviews and hires Internet Sales Consultants to produce best-in-class online sales force
- Ensures job expectations and periodic performance goals are clearly understood by each individual team member
- Owns the CRM process and ensures engagement of Internet Sales Consultants with the New Home Consultants of use of the program for lead and appointment tracking. Current CRMs and platforms include SalesForce, RingCentral and Tableau
- Evaluates each member of the Internet Sales Team as they prepare/maintain their office environment, interact with prospective buyers, describe the unique customer value proposition, and enter/track information in CRM in an effort to identify areas for improvement where coaching is appropriate
- Coaches Internet Sales Consultants via instruction and interactive discussion, both informally and formally using the Company’s established performance appraisal processes
- Recognizes top performers and leverages strengths in a strategic fashion to promote positivity and encourage constructive behaviors
- Proactively monitors and engages poor performers to develop weaker areas and, if necessary, moves people out when performance does not improve
- Visits competitor online communities to gather market data and intelligence (e.g. digital marketing efforts, promotions) and provides summary reports to management.
- Work collaboratively with marketing and division leadership to create and carry out a strategic marketing plan for each community
- Participates in the daily functions of the department as an ISC, engaging with customers via email, chat, phone calls, scheduling appointments and follow up.
- Knowledge and experience of new home sales and sales training
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to coach both high and low performers in a structured and motivational fashion
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- College degree preferred
- 2 to 3 years experience working in the homebuilding industry in a similar role strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This is a primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies and materials weighing twenty-five (25) pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard and telephone equipment. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
