Job description
Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen & respiratory products throughout the Midwest & Northern Rockies. We are currently in search of a Intake/QA Supervisor who is responsible for overseeing the intake process for new setup orders for Oxygen and other Respiratory equipment.
Working from our Eagan MN office, this role works closely in coordination with the Revenue Cycle Manager of Front and Back End Billing. The Intake/QA Supervisor will provide strategic direction, process improvement and workflow direction, along with team/ leadership development for the Intake/QA departments. This position will report directly to the Front End Revenue Cycle Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Intake coordinators and QA/Insurance Verification specialists, providing coaching and training as needed.
- Monitor and ensure the timely and accurate completion of all intake forms.
- Coordinate with other departments, including billing and clinical services, to ensure a smooth transition from intake to service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to intake and patient information.
- Provide reports and analysis on intake metrics and trends.
- Conducts audit of intake process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop and implement quality improvements initiatives to address identified issues and trends.
- Maintain a high level of quality and patient satisfaction throughout the intake process.
- Develop and maintain computerized record management systems to store and process data such as personnel activities and information, and to produce reports.
Top Candidates will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years of medical terminology/billing experience
- 3-5 years of management/leadership experience
- Experience developing, maintaining, and producing reports based on computerized record management systems such as personnel activities and information
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, organize and manage multiple priorities
Additional Preferred
- Previous experience in HME billing, process and workflow improvement, and team/leadership development is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related degree.
- Brightree software experience.
- Bilingual is a plus!
