Description:
As an Insurance Document Associate, you will work as part of a team responsible for examining outgoing client policy contracts to ensure it is ready to ship to clients. Per established guidelines, you will be responsible for officially prepping all contracts to mail mail. You will report information to the responsible team lead and identifying when to escalate problems/exceptions to the Team Leader or Manager. Additional responsibilities: pulling specific Financial Rep correspondence, handling exceptions, labeling packages and prepping mail for FedEx Shipments. Above all, you demand excellence of yourself; you handle tasks with the highest possible degree of accuracy and discretion.
Mail Document Preparation/Classifying (50%)
- Responsible for completing document review and audit by appropriately identifying and pulling financial representative paper work from contracts
- Review the work for high priority mail, and / or claim documents. Ability to recognize and identify misrouted forms and documents. Organizes the documents according to guidelines. Responsible for meeting all established service level agreements.
Miscellaneous Duties (25%)
Including but not limited to the following duties:
- Maintenance and shipping of documents to the Records Center
- Responding to basic inquiries for rescans and original documents
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Team Leader and/or Manager
Requirements:
- High school or equivalency required.
- 1-2 years prior mail handling experience or customer services experience is helpful.
- Strong ability to organize and prioritize work under tight time constraints.
- High degree of accuracy; ability to effectively work in a fast paced environment.
- Basic PC proficiency required.
- Ability to work independently within established policy standards and procedures.
- Strong team worker with proven ability to work effectively and harmoniously.
- Ability to handle confidential information in a manner consistent with privacy laws and regulations and Northwestern Mutual standards.
- Ability to multi-task, navigate using various systems.
Ability to lift 35lbs
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
