Job Summary

The Spray Foam/Insulation Specialist will give daily instruction and leadership to the insulation crew and sees to the safety, productivity, cleanliness, and quality of a jobsite and crew.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Installs and replaces insulation in buildings.
• Reads building plans and blueprints to calculate the quantity and type of insulation materials needed to fulfill job requirements.
• Communicates with superintendent on equipment and tool maintenance along with the needs of the crew.
• Follows company and industry safety guidelines and regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of insulation and materials and ability to determine best material for a project.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install insulation.
• Ability to read blueprints and calculate insulation needed.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes on jobsite.

Education/Experience:

• Spray foam experience required.
• Class A CDL required.
• OSHA certified preferred but not required.
• Forklift and arial work platform certified preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, bending, or climbing ladders.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time.
