A residential installation technician is responsible for providing excellence customer service to the end user while installing/servicing/upgrading various smart home devices, security systems, cameras, and other security/burglar devices:

Hours working:

Tuesday – Saturday: Opportunity to work overtime. Always have the opportunity to work on Monday.

Average: 2 Jobs Per Day or 1 All Day Job

• Required to be onsite at customer house by 8:00am the latest

o 8:00am – 12:00pm Window

o 1:00pm – 5:00pm Window

o All day job – 8:00am – 6:00pm Job

Overtime is encouraged. Many techs work 50+ per work week at a minimum.

• Upsell Example:

Example: Consultant upsells a smoke detector for $100. The calculation will be as follows:

o ($100 (cost of the Upsell item) x .06) = $6 Commission

Job Description

Currently seeking a bright and assertive Install Technician. Contractor technicians will be sent to jobs in a clustered area and as close to home as possible.

Technician needs to have previous experience doing home security installation or troubleshooting of the systems. The desired candidate will have previous experience with installing and servicing security monitoring systems in residential settings. Some of these responsibilities include CCTV, surveillance cameras, access control systems, card readers, and wireless keypads. Desired candidate should have experience programming security systems such as Brivo, CCTV, IP Cameras, and Fire alarm systems.

This candidate must have a clean driving record and be comfortable driving their own vehicle as they will not be provided a service vehicle. This technician can expect at least 40 hours per week working Tuesday-Saturday.

This person needs to have a mechanical aptitude and an adaptive personality. Technician must maintain 98% and better with inventory. Inventory is collecting once a week from the office and the technician is responsible for the inventory for the entire week. Inventory checks are quarterly. Technician can be dispatched from home or office.

Training: This technician will train anywhere from 2-4 weeks on "ride alongs" with Current full time technicians. This training period is based on the knowledge of the technicians. They will be allowed to work OT while training as well.
