Job Summary: Responsible for the operation of a variety of machinery including plate rollers, plasma, waterjets, band saws, drill presses, etc., as well as preparing materials needed for production of dry line heaters.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

· Operate heavy machinery including plate roller, plasma, waterjet, band saw, drill press etc.

· Prefabrication of stock liners

· Coordinate with Purchasing Department in regard to inventory of raw stock liner materials

· Cross train on Roll Form machine

o Running and setting up Roll Form Machine

o Load programs and set tools

o Load sheet metal on roll form machinery

o Troubleshoot and rework pieces

o Plan and layout bending sequence referring to drawings, blueprints or other specifications

· Weld testing and documenting results to ensure wedge welders are performing properly and proper weld settings are maintained

· Maintenance on wedge welders

· Running and setting up Waterjet and CNC Plasma

· Load programs and set tools

· Load material onto machinery

· Read measuring instruments

· Troubleshoot and rework pieces

· Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects

· Meet and maintain company quality standards

· Actively participates in the implementation and daily routines of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System

· Actively participates and cooperates with internal/external ISO Audits

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Forklift operators certificate an asset

· High school diploma

· Ability to operate loader, forklift and bobcat and overhead cranes

· Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English

· Multitask and establish priorities

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Able to work well under pressure

· Strong leadership skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
