MPP Corporation, a plastic injection molding and assembly manufacturer is inviting qualified individuals to apply for injection molding supervisor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Active participation 90% with "hands on" involvement with the production team
* Provide work direction and set priorities for production staff
* Plan job schedule according to production and customer needs with meeting "on time" delivery dates.
*Equipment and Tool set up, processing of materials and operations per production standards
* Validate proper materials are used, secondary operations required, quality of product, production counts are accurate.
* Monitor, report and problem solve changes in quality
* Works under direction of Production Manager.
* Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of the team responsibility along with continuous improvements.
* Works well with wide range of personalities and influences positive outcomes.
* Job requires ability to lift 40#, standing, walking, climbing, forklift operation, and the ability to work well with all staff and departments.
Education and Experience:
* High School Diploma or GED
* 5 years experience with injection molding process and previous machine /tool set up and processing experience preferred.
* Strong knowledge of injection molding process, secondary equipment including sonic welding and measuring devices.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Strong communication skills written and verbal.
* Ability to work well with supportive staff members and departments.
