We are looking for an experienced professional electrician to join the team in our manufacturing facility in Dodge Center, MN. This position is responsible for installation, start up, and shut down of equipment; troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment. This role requires a thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of carious materials, principles of operation and application of electrical equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install, start up, and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures in line with OSHA requirements.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment.

Plan electrical work utilizing thorough background knowledge of electrical/electronic and machinal theories and principles, local and national electrical codes, and properties of various materials.

Advise operators and maintenance technicians of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electric/electronic and machinal equipment components.

Inform appropriate management and maintenance of potential electrical/mechanical plans and inherent dangers involved.

Assist and train apprentices and technical team members.

Perform preventative maintenance functions as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or its equivalent.
-
Electrical Journeyman license.
-
Three years of relevant electrical experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Familiarity and understanding of local and national electrical codes.
-
Ability to work well with all levels of personnel, individually or in a team environment.
-
Ability to interface and communicate with operators to assist with repair sand troubleshooting.
-
Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
-
A thorough knowledge in all areas of industrial electricity, electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
