Job Description:

Our delivery drivers are the backbone of our company. They provide local and well as over the road services. Delivery drivers are responsible for transferring goods from areas of production to personal homes and businesses. The most important duty of delivery drivers is to drive safely to their destination. Our drivers are also help with the loading and unloading of products, keep logs of their activities and make sure their vehicles are maintained in good working order. Additionally they accept payment for services and handle other paperwork related to the delivery. Selected drivers may be responsible for obtaining new customers along a delivery route.

Job Skills:

• Fully familiar with driving protocols and procedures

• Great sense of responsibility aimed at safety of vehicle and goods

• Demonstrated ability to act logically and quickly in adverse situations

• Well-versed in reading maps and handling GPS

• Physical dexterous to handle loading and unloading tasks

• Proven ability to exhibit great attention to detail

• Keen understanding of handling basic vehicle maintenance and repair tasks

• Exceptional time management skills

• Good hand-eye coordination

• Capability of working well under pressure especially in adverse situations such as accidents or traffic jams

• Adept at driving delivery vehicles in extreme weather conditions

• Thorough understanding of traffic laws and ability to “think fast on your feet”

• Demonstrated ability to multitask to make up for lost time in the event of delays in delivery

• Exceptional customer service skills aimed at communicating a positive image of the company to customers

Job Requirement:

Valid Class A, B, C license

Minimum 1 year’s experience as Delivery Driver

Clean driving record

Ability to pass company driving test, background check and drug test

Strong customer service skills

Must possess a positive and professional attitude
