Inbound Associate - Equipment Operator
Job description
This position encompasses the receiving of incoming product in accordance with company operational and quality procedures. Duties include the unloading, receiving, put-away, and replenishing of product/material within the warehouse facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow safety guidelines of the Inbound department and general warehouse standards
- Operate mobile equipment per safety guidelines and requirements
- Unloading of product / material from trailer to warehouse facility
- Properly receive product / material and maintain required documentation via paper or electronically
- Accurately place product / material in warehouse storage locations
- Replenishing of product / material at pick locations in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify product / material items and counts
- Allocating space to store material and maximize storage
- Reporting of any non-conformance/compliance issues to the Inbound Team Lead or Inbound ADM
- Observe all company rules and regulations
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Prior warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Certification or ability to be certified in mobile equipment (fork-truck, stand up fork-truck, etc)
- Attention to detail of alpha and numerical data
- Time management and ability to work independently
