CAREGIVER/COMPANION NEEDED
Come hang out with me! I'm a 29-year with quadriplegic cerebral palsy. I need someone to help me get up and get to bed, as well as support for my activities of daily living, and health care needs. In between getting up or going to bed I like to be out and about going on adventures! I enjoy cooking, sports, games, movies, singing, music, walks and bus rides. I have lift-systems at oth homes, but this job does require that you can help position me and push me in a wheel chair. This is a great job for all caregivers, and/or those looking to work in the healthcare, social services, psychology and/or education field. Get valuable work experience, and have a good time.
Pay: For In-Home Caregiver pay $25.00/hr for AM and PM shifts ($18.00 for overnight shifts). I pay for orientation & training ($18/hour). Are you a RN or LVN? I have hours available. Contact us for nursing pay rate.
Location: I split my time between my parent’s homes. One lives right next to UCSC and the other is in Midtown/Seabright (near the bus lines).
Job Duties: I am seeking someone who is responsible, active, and fun. Experience with adults or children with disabilities preferred, not required. We are happy to train you.
Currently seeking someone to work 1-2 (6-8 hour) shifts per week with flexibility in scheduling (we will accommodate when you need a weekend off).
