Job Title: Production Team

Reports To: General Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute all aspects of ice cream cake, ice cream sammie and ice cream production, including ingredient prep, recipe execution, and inventory management
• Implement and execute daily ice cream production plans
• Maintenance and care of production equipment and tools
• Effectively use and update proprietary ice cream inventory management software
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas
• Clearly communicate needs or issues with shop managers
• Greet customers to make them feel comfortable and welcome
  
• Follow Sweet Cow’s operational policies and procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
  
• Quickly and accurately prepare menu items including ice cream, ice cream cakes,and ice cream sammies
• Check quality and temperatures throughout the day to ensure Sweet Cow quality and safety standards are met or exceeded
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop and ensure proper set up and/or breakdown of the prep areas
• Work as a team to prepare the shop for each shift
• Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture of Sweet Cow
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Contributes to a positive team environment

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

• Impeccable organization and planning skills
• Mastery of basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percents, ratios and both English units of measurement and the metric system.
  
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Team oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Some English preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Daytime Availability
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 16 years of age

EXPERIENCE

• Previous service industry and production experience preferred
