Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. has an opening for a full-time Assistant to work with both the Human Resources and Marketing departments. Greensfelder is a large law firm located in downtown St. Louis, MO. The nature of work is highly confidential requiring considerable discretion, judgment, and accuracy.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform a variety of HR, Marketing and occasional Accounting administrative functions including scheduling meetings, drafting internal and external correspondence, annual updates to packets and forms as well as data entry.
  • Input, update and assist in maintaining personnel records, spreadsheets, HRIS system data and HR intranet page.
  • Assists with overall recruiting process - posting positions, recording applications from various sites into applicant tracking system, scheduling interviews and processes degree verifications/transcript requests.
  • Prepare orientation materials for new employees.
  • Assist with preparation of the year-end performance review process materials.
  • Responsible for annual EEO-1 reporting.
  • Support the Well-Being Program initiatives and activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of the Firm’s United Way campaign, Health Screening/Flu Shot event.
  • Client event preparation including creating materials, tracking RSVPs, and assisting with on-site setup and execution.
  • Ordering and researching options for promotional items and tracking inventory.
  • Assist with budget tasks for marketing team including invoices and credit card documentation.
  • Assist with marketing data tracking and analysis.

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

  • Associate’s degree required.
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities in a sometimes fast paced environment.
  • At least 1+ year relevant work experience. Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced computer skills; Microsoft office suite and Adobe required. Basic knowledge of HRIS systems, preferred but not required.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
