Pay:
This is an exempt/salary position. The pay range is $45000 - $75000. Pay may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
Location/Travel Requirements:
This position will work out of our Leesburg, FL office. Travel Requirements: up to 25%
Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist & Recruiter will work with the organization s new, current, and former employees to assist in the hiring, onboarding, and training processes. This position must adhere to all the rules and policies as well as ensuring the organization s practices comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with management team to identify and receive detailed hiring criteria for needs
- Coordinates all onboarding for new employees
- Present New Hire Orientation
- Attends job fairs and special events
- Social media recruiting
- Handling all cold calls that come into office inquiring about open positions
- Answer employee questions about policy and procedures, and refers to HR manager as needed
- Assist in projects, such as; HR events, benefits open enrollment, employee communications and company-wide meetings
- Compiles and prepares data for statistical reporting
- Develop and assist with HR training materials
- Have current and active knowledge of employment laws
- Serves as a link between management and team members by handling questions and helping to resolve work-related problems
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years working in Human Resources or related experience
- Drug Free Workplace – must take and pass pre-employment drug test
- Valid Driver s License
Preferred:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Certification in aPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP
- Strong experience in human resource management and business administration
- Knowledge of training and staffing
- Proficient in handling multiple projects and ensure law and requirements are being followed
- Familiar with technology and proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and other software)
- Provide quick, accurate, and helpful responses to questions in an approachable and friendly tone
- Positive outlook, flexibility, and resilience to constant change
- Highly visible and accessible to all employees
- Team oriented
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work with/keep confidential information
