The Opportunity
As one of the fastest growing companies in the region, we are seeking to expand our Human Resources department by adding aHuman Resources Assistantto our team. The HR Assistantwill be responsible for employee lifecycle administration, handling paperwork necessary for departmental needs such as onboarding, disciplinary paperwork processing, policy announcements, termination documents and others as assigned.
The HR Assistantwould also be responsible for providing HR support to various departments on behalf of Human Resources and the Executive team.
Employed by Danner Enterprises, this position will work with managers and staff across the entire family of brands: Save on Branson, Thousand Hills Vacations, St. James Winery Branson, Branson's Famous and Judge Stone's Old Time Photos, VacationIQ,Pointe Royale Properties, and Table Rock Resorts.
With the pace in which our company goes and grows, no one day is the same and departmental needs are consistently changing. This position will requirean individual who is capable of pivoting and reprioritizing their focus at a moment's notice, while also being able to return to their previous tasks and see them through to completion.
Responsibilities:
Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database and sorting emails for the HR department
Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves of absences
Assist HR Managerand Chief of Staff in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration as needed
Coordinate orientation and trainingfor new employees (Day 1 handoff to department manager)
Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
Administer HR tasks within our company PEO (ADP) and work with the HR Manager to research, verify and communicate any new policies that need to be rolled out
Act as the official liaison between department managers and the HR Manager / Chief of Staff and communicate necessary information
Verify all employee payroll data is input and correct prior to sending to the Payroll department for processing
Assist with information gathering regarding Benefits and Health Insurance through our PEO, ADP
Assist our corporate HR Manager overseeing Talent Acquisition with onboarding of new employees as needed and under their direction
Assist with compliance research regarding hiring or terminating employees
Requirements and Skills Needed
Must have a minimum of 1 yearexperience in HR Assisting and Recruitment or related field(s)
Must have strong communication skills - verbaland written
Must be able to quickly resolve problems when dealing with people
Must be familiar with database systems and common HR applications
