Human Resources Assistant - Oostburg
As the Human Resources Assistant, you’ll be responsible for greeting and directing visitors and assisting with administrative functions for the Human Resources Department. Must create a good impression of the company when speaking to visitors and callers.
- Screen plant office visitors and phone calls for all plant office personnel.
- Maintain job description database.
- Order and maintain plant office supplies.
- Assist with the ordering and service of employee uniforms.
- Serve as the main point of contact with plant vending service.
- Maintain and scan electronic plant employee personnel/medical files.
- Administer monthly employee service award program.
- Coordinate all onboarding correspondence to new hires.
- Assemble and maintain all office and plant orientation materials.
- Other projects and support functions as requested by the Vice President of Human Resources, Human Resources Manager - Operations, Human Resources Manager - Oostburg, or other Plant Managers.
What You Can Offer
Associate Degree in Accounting or a related area, or equivalent experience is preferred.
One year of accounting or related office experience is preferred.
- Requires a high level of confidentiality.
- Must have good mathematical and analytical skills, problem solving ability and accuracy.
- Good typing ability and proficient use of calculator.
- Knowledge of the ERP computer system and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
