Manufacturing Human Resources Generalist- Latrobe, PA
The Human Resource Generalist is an integral position to support the strategic and administrative needs of the organization. We are looking for qualified individuals who ensure efficient operations, enjoy a fast-paced environment and exemplifies the value of the human resources department. This position will be involved in all human resources initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full cycle recruiting – conducts all phases of the recruiting process.
- Responsible for monitoring job boards and related postings for open positions including social media campaigns.
- Participate in job fairs, community outreach and other external partnerships.
- Create and participate in onboarding activities.
- Monitors bi-weekly payroll system for clock punches, time off, etc.
- Point of contact for employee and labor relations.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, leave, and workers compensation.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Enjoy building from the ground up employee recognition programs, workforce engagement activities and other fun activities to involve employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree in business or related field and minimum 3 years of Human Resource related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of state and federal employment law and regulations required
- Minimum one years’ experience processing payroll and related software
- Experience administering health and welfare benefits and handling day-to-day employee relations issues
- Experience working with worker’s compensation, FMLA, COBRA, and HIPAA programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to handle a number of assignments and responsibilities while managing interruptions and changing priorities (multi-tasking)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
