TNA is currently seeking an HRIS Specialist / HR Generalist for our Human Resources department. Our vision for this position is to undertake an important role in the development and day-to-day maintenance of the department’s HRIS, Performance, Recruiting, Onboarding, and LMS and other related HRIS systems. Additionally, this position will have daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including, but not limited to, acting as back-up to payroll, time and attendance, and leave administration, as well as enforcing company policies and practices. This role will also be responsible for providing back-up support around administrative tasks within our General Affairs function.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains and continuously improves the performance of our HR systems by gathering data, and making recommendations based on performance metrics and user experience
- Works with HR Manager to oversee HRIS systems (all modules of UKG)
- Troubleshoots HR system issues and resolve through administrator’s support process
- Has the ability to configure our HR system to meet ongoing business needs and generate reports to support HR functions including compensation, compliance and benefit administration
- Has the ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff on our HR systems
- Provides project support for any given HR initiative and/or special assignments
- Partners and communicates with other members of the HR team making sure employee changes are made in a timely manner - including new hires, benefits elections, garnishments, direct deposit authorizations, tax withholding designations, etc.
- Maintains and processes digital new hire forms into both the HRIS & e-Personnel filing system.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Responsible for attendance reporting for all production areas.
- May partner with the team on all new hire preparation and orientation when needed.
- Maintains and updates the Human Resources/ General Affairs Intranet page
- Creates, maintains and seeks approval for the company’s organizational charts
- Processes requests for system-generated HR reports
- Compliance reporting from state and federal agencies
- KA Reports (work with all areas of HR for monthly report)
- Weekly or Monthly Attendance Reports for KA
- Posts and maintains active company notices and legal postings on company bulletin boards
- Maintains knowledge of organizational and departmental policies and procedures
- Serves as back-up support to certain areas of our General Affairs division, examples of such support include:
- Acts as back-up in assisting in maintaining Company employee tire discount program
- Other Miscellaneous Duties as needed
