Position Summary

The HRIS Analyst researches, analyzes, evaluates, and administers benefit plans and programs in alignment with the organization’s strategy. Analyze current benefits trends and offerings to assist with plan design and budget recommendations. Ensures HR systems integration and maintenance of the HRIS system to include leading design, build, and test of various enhancements. Ensures legal compliance and collaborates as needed with IT, legal counsel, brokers/consultants, vendors, HR staff, associates, and other internal stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

Experience

  • 3+ years of human resources experience with HRIS and benefits administration
  • Experience with analysis and project management
  • Advanced MS Excel proficiency
  • Prefer experience with Infor/Lawson v10 or higher
  • Prefer experience with Kronos v8

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Analysis: Provide technical research, analyze, and interpret complex benefit and compensation plan provisions and processes including comprehensive ERISA and PPACA compliance issues.
  • Recruitment: Review benchmarking results and prepare analytics to support recommended plan design changes while minimizing budgetary and population impact.
  • Retention: Assist in the coordination of onboarding, design, policy changes, etc. of physicians, mid-level providers, and new acquisitions.
  • Budget Compliance: Prepare and complete the annual benefits budget through preparation of financial analytics and review with the benefits leadership team.
  • System Maintenance: Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain HRIS tables. Document process and results.
  • Production Support: Provide support for HRIS, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Projects/Process Improvement: Recommend process improvements and serve as a key liaison with HR staff, third parties and other stakeholders (e.g., payroll). Use project management skills in managing projects. May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative.
  • Reports/Queries: Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools (Microsoft Add-Ins, Infor Spreadsheet Designer, Power BI). Assist Reporting and Analytics team in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Training: Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train clients on new processes/functionality. Train new system users.
  • Wellness: Serve as HR administrator and point of contact for all wellness program coordinators including the internal wellness team and coaching staff.
  • Communications: Establish and serve as an Administrator of the HR Operations Administration Mailbox with a 24-hour response time.
  • Metrics: Design, prepare, and publish a monthly and quarterly KPI dashboard reflective of HR Operational analytics, vs. industry standards to assure that we remain competitive in all employee relations, compensation and benefits philosophies and programs.
  • Kronos: Support Kronos Workforce Dimensions, Kronos Advanced Scheduler
