HR Specialist (Sr. Recruiter)
Summary:
The Sr. Recruiter will support the daily operations and recruiting needs for all business lines and corporate functions. Responsible for full cycle recruiting activities including but not limited to: Job intake process, Job advertisement, sourcing of candidates, screening of candidates, coordinating manager interviews, offer negotiation, requisition management and standard reporting and analysis.
Additionally, the Sr. Recruiter may be asked to help lead, coach and mentor less experienced recruiters or members of the team.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Develop standard job descriptions, requisitions and posting requirements.
- Manage expectations with hiring managers.
- Develop meaningful partnerships and relationships with hiring managers.
- Ability to prioritize and organize high-priority requisitions.
- Utilize social media tools to help facilitate the recruiting process.
- Support mobile recruiting events such as career fairs when needed.
- Develop and generate standard and ad hoc reporting.
- Coordinate Manager interviews for prospective candidates.
- Assist in coordinating and running HR related events such as career fairs.
- Help keep candidate statuses up to date in the company ATS.
- Facilitate and coordinate exit interviews as necessary.
- Support the employee Performance Assessment process as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills and abilities)
- At least 5 years of related experience recruiting for industrial or construction related organizations.
- Or at least 7 years of combined corporate recruiting experience.
- Detailed oriented.
- Efficient in excel, word, PowerPoint.
- Expert in optimizing and reporting out of an ATS.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and support multiple leaders and teammates.
- Strong communication skills verbally and written.
- Presenting to audiences of 5-10 people (Orientation)
- Ability to multi-task.
- Travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred candidates will be based out of the Wilmington, NC area and/or willing to relocate to Wilmington, NC. Relocation assistance is available to qualified candidates.
