HR Generalist
With the growth we are having, it's time for us to look at full-time HR, Payroll with bookkeeping and recruiting skills. We use QuickBooks Enterprise for our payroll and accounting.
Location: Plano Texas
Position is primarily remote with home/office flexibility. Will have to come into office for meetings several times a month.
Salary will be based on Experience and Technical Interview.
The main function of human resources is to take care of employee relations, while the payroll function deals with the financial compensation of those employees and the process by which they get paid.
Recruitment, salary increases, bonus payments, benefit deductions, vacation leave, sick leave and termination are all areas that will require the attention of both payroll and HR.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support the management/ Operation
- Support processing of payroll including salary, incentive, and other payment to all to ensure that they are properly executed, recorded and in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Local laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support Human Resource Business Partners with inquiries as well as lifecycle event services, including but not limited to new hire/onboarding processes, performance management questions, position management changes, and off boarding processes and maintenance of personnel records in accordance with company policy and federal/state laws.
- Support the updating and maintenance of payroll records.
- Support the investigation, clarification, and resolution of any payroll issues in a timely manner, which includes gathering information, coordinating with and communicating with management.
- Maintains the ability to work within QuickBooks, Excel at a proficient level.
- Support coordinating new hire, transfer, termination, and any other personnel change processes to ensure accordance with established policies and procedures and timeliness.
- Support recruitment including posting positions internally and externally and coordinating candidate interviews.
- Support completing employment verifications.
- Timely completion of I-9s, verify I-9 documentation.
- Serves as a shared resource for ad hoc requests and projects as assigned.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, analytical, and technical support skills.
Requirements:
- Detail orientation, strong problem-solving skills as well as an exceptionally high degree of discretion in dealing with confidential information are all essential to this role.
- 2-3 years of related experience.
- Experience in processing payroll.
- Experience with HRIS Systems.
- Knowledge of payroll systems such as Gusto, Paycom, Paychex and others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree or 2-3 years' experience in relevant field.
