Medallion Midstream is one of the fastest-growing pipeline companies in the Permian Basin area. Our organization is seeking an HR Generalist to assist in aligning our Human Resources team and initiatives with our field team management. The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive support in the day-to-day operations of human resources, including recruiting, performance management, the Learning Management System, and employee training.
Consistent travel between our Irving and Garden City offices will be required. This position's home office can be in either Irving or Garden City. This posting is for the Irving home office. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identify future hiring needs, be proactively informed of the labor market, design job descriptions, creatively source candidates through databases, networking, and social media, conduct interviews, and assist hiring managers by recommending the top talent for positions.- Develop, coach, mentor, and help equip employees to grow into their full career progression.
- Analyze the educational, developmental, and technical training needs of employees, and develop and/or source formal programs to meet those needs.
- Manage the creation, maintenance, and scheduling of courses in the Learning Management System (LMS) for managers and employees.
- Support employee retention strategies by developing employee relationships, conducting employee research, improving performance management, researching compensation, implementing recognition programs, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Assist the department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees.
- Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from the database when requested.
- Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of applicable HR experience.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, communication (written and verbal), teamwork, customer service, decision making, time management, and multitasking skills.
- A high commitment to and execution of protecting confidentiality.
- A high commitment to diligence, teamwork, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and handle pressure.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience with Paycom® or other relevant HRIS preferred.
Physical Demands:
This job operates as a blend of professional office environment and consistent travel to our field offices. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.- This is more of a sedentary role, though you will spend time interacting with field employees in their normal work environments; involves sitting but may involve walking or standing for longer periods.
- This position is primarily an office position where work is normally performed in a climate-controlled environment, but there may be exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes, and gases. Some environmental hazards may be encountered in the performance of normal job duties while in the field offices.
