HR Compliance Specialist
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The HR Compliance Specialist is responsible for providing operational and administrative support, reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager. The HR Compliance Specialist ensures departmental processes and procedures are carried out in accordance with company policy and all applicable laws. We are looking for a highly detailed and self-motivated individual who enjoys working through challenges.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Register company in new states as needed
· Maintain annual state registration activities
· Ensuring licensing and regulatory requirements set out by federal and/or state law are up to date by conducting regular audits
· Maintain records of compliance activities
· Creates and coordinates compliance regulation strategies andprocedures
· Staying aware of regulatory changes and ensuring compliance to the new standards
· Resolving compliance issues as they arise
· Assist Finance department with tax compliance
· Review compliance requirements for client and employee agreements/contracts
· Performs other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
· A minimum of three years’ experience working in human resources or legal department
· Strong analytical reasoning skills and the ability to absorb and apply information quickly
· Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
· Associate or Bachelor's degree
· Paralegal Certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
