The HR Compliance Partner is responsible for ensuring all HR and payroll laws, rules, regulations, and requirements are researched, up to date and implemented throughout company policy, procedures and practices. The HR Compliance Partner will focus on one or more HR Centers of Excellence (COE) and will work alongside, consult and advise COE leaders and employees on compliance topics in their area of emphasis.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor, audit and assist with HR compliance for assigned HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Oversee and enforce the HR record retention policy and practices.
  • Research and summarize new and/or existing rules, regulations, compliance requirements and document applicable controls and potential gaps within area COE focus.
  • Serve as advisor to COE project and process teams to ensure compliance is being considered and implemented throughout.
  • Complete audits on system accuracy, updated information, open items, pending items and any needs, in order to maintain and update human resource records.
  • Audit and validate information in the Paycom system is current, updated and correct with our policies and procedures.
  • Answer routine questions from employees and managers regarding Human Resource programs, policies, and/or procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience:

  • 3+ years in human resources, compliance, or related field with demonstrated experience in compliance responsibilities

OR

  • 1+ years in human resources, compliance, or related field with demonstrated experience in compliance responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Compliance, Business, or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification or equivalent

Experience:

  • 3+ years in a compliance-focused role

Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be organized and have good time management skills.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer literacy with specific proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to make large group presentations and consult effectively one-on-one
