Requirements
- Three to five years of Human Resources & /or customer service experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience & proficiency in MS Office systems, including Excel, Word, & Outlook

Job Duties:
- Understand & comply with Company policies, safety rules, & procedures
- Traverse thru the lumber mill safely & with confidence
- Represent the HR depart. in meetings such as PAC, safety, & interviews when needed. Provide backup scribe services for the same, distribute previous meeting notes & agendas within 48 hours of meetings, & provide any other assistance as needed
- Ability to assist with personnel & safety investigations
- Manage & track workers' compensation claims
- Assist with direct hiring tasks as needed. This may include pre-screening tasks, scheduling interviews, background verifications, & making packets
- Maintain the scanning & filing of personnel records, including but not limited to disciplinary actions, payroll information, personnel changes, performance reviews, & any other needed documentation.
- Assist with FMLA/OFLA, PLO, & Short-Term Disability requests
- Assist with the administration of the Willamina Division Affirmative Action Program
- Perform monthly random controlled substance testing
- Assist in maintaining company bulletin boards, including but not limited to required posting & informational postings
- Assist in the facilitation and distribution of items needed for employee recognition, including but not limited to plant BBQs, clothing items, dinners, outside & inside meeting facilities, food, refreshments, gift certificates, & any other Company related events
- Other assignments as needed

Pay and Benefits
- $21.63-$26.44 per hour, Depending On Experience & Qualifications
- Generous company-paid assistance for Medical and Dental insurance premiums; cost-effective co-pays & deductibles. Vision, Short Term Disability, Roth & pre-tax 401k, with a 2% company match & an additional 5% annual employer contribution, fully vested after three years.
