The Hyatt Place at Town Center is looking for Housekeeping Room Attendants. Applicants need to be positive, energetic and willing to do whatever it takes to make our guests happy. Potential candidates will need to be attentive to details and understand how this role impacts the overall success of the hotel. Ideal applicants will have great attendance and understand why hotel cleanliness is so important. The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate to guests preferred. MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, replacing required supplies and ensuring hotel's established standards of cleanliness are met
• Vacuum carpets and cleans windows
• Make beds daily with clean linens
• Ensure carts are stocked with cleaning and room supplies
• Complete daily section report as instructed by supervisor
• Complete assignment sheets
• Provide assistance to co-workers and guests as needed
• Acknowledge and greet guests immediately when passing in the hall and elevator
• Perform other necessary duties upon request
• Report all maintenance problems to supervisor
• Turn in lost and found items immediately to the supervisor
• Report all guest accidents and associate injuries to a supervisor immediately
• Notify supervisor of any guest complaints or comments
• Arrive in proper clean and pressed uniform with nametag
• Must be aware and practice all emergency and safety procedures
