The Floor Techs must provide clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly and satisfying surroundings for the patients, employees, and public. The floor technician promotes hygienic conditions that prevent the spread of infection and odors. She/he may be required to perform tasks that involve exposure to visible blood. The floor technician must follow the required written Kansas Medical Center policies and procedures for cleaning, disinfecting of critical and non-critical areas. The floor technician is required to apply in their daily duties the educational training provided by management in accordance with CDC, AHE, APIC.
Experience operating cleaning, buffing and extraction equipment required; knowledge of pH levels and sanitation capabilities of chemicals required.
Our Floor Technicians work 2nd shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM and receive 15% Shift Differential on top of the base rate. They will be scheduled for every other weekend with a 25% Differential.

- A satellite Emergency Department located at 21st and Webb Road that offers X-Ray, CT, and Lab
