The Winchester Inn, a premier small boutique hotel, located in the heart of downtown Ashland, has open positions in our housekeeping department.

For the safety of our staff and guests, all staff are required to be vaccinated

Duties and Qualifications include:
We are looking for responsible, positive, diligent, and reliable individuals
Teamwork oriented
Superior attention to detail and communications skills
Daily tasks include treating, washing, drying, and folding room linens.
Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment
Ability to lift a maximum of 30 lbs
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
A professional appearance and good personal hygiene must be maintained at all times
Willing to perform other job-related tasks that may not be included in this job description
Must be customer service oriented and able to respond to guest-related questions or concerns in a timely, efficient and positive manner
Maintains a friendly, cheerful, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times with guests and fellow staff
The ability to work quickly and accurately in a high volume/fast-paced atmosphere is imperative
Prior housekeeping experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
