As a Night Auditor you must be a quick learner and a quick thinker. We’re looking for someone to provide fast and accurate responses to various situations. In this position, you will have to work overnight to check guest room keys, review inventories and answer guest questions. We expect you to be highly organized and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of computer software. This job requires someone who can work well under pressure, with ability to multi-task while staying calm in stressful situations.

Responsibilities:

• Check paying guests in and out and organize their personal belongings.
• Keep an accurate account of all incoming and outgoing money .
• Maintain security of all valuables, including cash and checks, by logging them in and out and storing them properly.
• Gather income generated from vending machines and pay telephones, Internet access, conference rooms and copy machines.
• Prepare reports on the daily financial activities of the hotel.
• Provide fast and friendly service to guest by greeting them in a timely manner.
• Handle complaints and resolve conflict in a reasonable way.
• Answer various questions about hotel operations or local attractions.
• Edit the hotel register or log book to make corrections.
• Receive incoming faxes, answer phone calls and write down messages.
• Issue wake-up calls to guests at specific times every morning.
• Monitor rooms before guests arrive to ensure everything is ship shape (made beds, fresh towels etc.).

What we are looking for:

• 6 months – 1+ year of Night Audit experience preferred
• Desire to work overnight shifts
• Ability to keep accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
• Ability to manage and keep accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
• Passionate about hospitality and creating an exceptional guest experience.

• All other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
