Patient Service Technician/Driver
Regional Home Medical Equipment Company seeks Medical Equipment Delivery Driver in Midland, MI.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Deliver, set up, and effectively instruct patients, and family member(s), caregiver(s) on the proper use of the equipment in professional and timely manner.
- Once fully trained, Technicians are expected to stay up to date on all equipment, policies and procedures.
- Clean, maintain, and repair (if applicable) all equipment according to policy and procedure.
- Keep delivery vehicle properly stocked with equipment and supplies according to company policy.
- Keep their assigned delivery vehicle neat and organized according to company policy.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks. Report to Manager when any vehicle maintenance is required. i.e. oil change, tire safety or mechanical concerns. Technicians are responsible to help maintain a safe delivery vehicle.
- Maintaining paperwork, proper documentation in the field, reporting (when necessary), distributing the appropriate equipment instruction sheets, and completing all necessary forms that apply
- Work with warehouse personnel to keep warehouse neat and organized according to company policy and procedures.
- Follow and obey all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
- Maintain a good driving record.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
- Excellent driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and mechanical skills
Required Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience in the RESP/DME industry or health related field is a plus, but not required.
- High School diploma or GED is a minimum requirement.
- Must be vaccinated against COVID 19.

In addition to hourly wage, an additional amount of up to $4.23 is available as a H&W Benefit per hour worked up to 40 hours per week, depending on Healthcare selection.
