SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.
We are seeking highly motivated High Confidence Software and Systems Researchers to join our team and leverage their technical expertise to investigate and design large-scale high performance computer systems, focusing on computer architectures, processing and memory subsystems, and transforming computing beyond Moore’s Law. As the High Confidence Software and Systems Researcher, you will explore, develop, and implement research approaches.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Staying abreast of the latest advances in computer science, engineering, mathematics, and physics
- Learning what problems and challenges operators and analyst face within different mission areas
- Creating and applying solutions to support the Sponsor’s mission
- Licensing, developing, and commercializing technologies that meet mission goals, advance science, and foster innovation
- Applying knowledge of mathematics, engineering, cognitive sciences, and physical sciences to analyze problems and determine technical solutions
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering and computer science
Experience in one or more of the following:
Experimental development of coherent measurement system for multi-qubit devices
Quantum information science device theory
Computational research in quantum information science materials and devices
