Machine Operator Assistant

Schedule:
1st, 3rd and weekend shifts
Overtime will be offered based on needs

Pay Rate:
$15.00-$18.00 per hour (Could be more depending on experience)

Responsibilities:
Helps setup machines accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques
Minimize waste of sheet stock
Monitor quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size and print
Cross train on other machines and switch duties as needed
Help operate the machine to run efficiently and produce quality products
Attend all plant safety meetings
Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed
Adhere to production schedule; make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals
Help complete all necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping
Ability to trouble shoot issues on machine to minimize downtime

Qualifications:
Must be able to read tape measure
Must have at least 2 years of warehouse/manufacturing experience
Use basic body mechanics as you will be moving, walking, twisting, using upper body
Must be able to lift/and or move up to 50 lbs.
