Stewart Builders, Hackettstown, NJ - Seeking a versatile individual for a leadership position with an excellent attitude and work ethic along with an expertise skill level operating excavating equipment and running jobs.

Job duties (typical but not limited to)

• Transport equipment to job sites (Class A CDL a plus)
• Reading plans
• Setting grade
• Run a job and be motivation to get the crew to work at an optimal level
• Operate various heavy equipment with a high level of expertise: backhoe, excavator, skid steer
• Operating demo saws, walk behind saws
• Working as part of the team to move the job forward even when machine operation is not needed.

Preferred experience

• 5 years or more operating and moving heavy equipment
• 5 years or more supervisory experience
• 5 years or more reading plans and setting grades
• Underground storage tank removal
• Welding
• Equipment repair and maintenance
• Plan reading

Preferred Training

• Osha 30
• Hazwoper 40
• Confined space training a plus.
