JOB DESCRIPTION

Redstone Construction Group is seeking an experienced Fueler/Oiler for immediate hire and steady work to fuel, service and maintain heavy earth moving construction equipment in a fast-paced environment. This is a safety sensitive position that will require operating a Fuel Tank truck on-site and driving between jobsites. Must have the ability to lift, load/unload parts and materials, and perform routine preventative maintenance services on earthmoving and related equipment such as, but not limited to, refueling equipment, and checking and refilling all fuel levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled fueling and lubrication services to all field equipment and construction machinery.
• Complete preventative maintenance work orders on a wide variety of heavy equipment including backhoes, scrapers, dozers, and excavators.
• Inspect equipment and report problems
• Occasionally may assist heavy equipment mechanics with the replacement of defective or worn parts.
• Maintains accurate truck and equipment inspection and service logs daily and in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Complies will all applicable DOT rules and regulations.
• Complies with all applicable environmental laws and regulations regarding disposal and waste.
• Conduct electronic log device (ELD) entries tracking hours of service requirements.
• Communicate with dispatch via truck computer email system.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Availability to work early morning, day, or evening shifts during the hours of 5:00AM - 9:00PM.

Job Requirements and Experience

• 1 year experience servicing heavy earth moving equipment preferred.
• Valid AR Class A or B driver s license with Hazmat and Tanker license endorsement.
• Must have own tools
• Pre-employment drug test & physical required
• Current, clean 3 year DMV report
• Valid CDL medical certification

Compensation:

• $22-$25 per hour. Based on experience.
